Mallory Scottow Goerk 2009 [Episode 27]

Mallory Scottow Goerk 2009 joined us for a fun LifeTalk podcast! Mallory is an Art teacher at the Plano campus. We got the opportunity to hear how Mallory grew so much in her faith over the years from the time she came to PCA as a Freshman. Audrey Sol Loyola 2015 [Episode 26]

Audrey Sol Loyola 2015 joined us for an amazing LifeTalk podcast. We got to hear what Audrey has been up to since she moved back from Washington D.C. Audrey has a passion for politics and she shared her thoughts on what the next generations needs to be doing in order to be prepared and understand the importance of what is going on in the world. Audrey is the niece of Senator, Ted Cruz and has been campaigning for him her whole life. She shared her experience of what ignited her passion for politics and how PCA has equipped her through the years. Amanda Reynolds 2017 [Episode 25]

Amanda Reynolds 2017 began working with ACTION in 2021 as the Short-term Missions Program Assistant. She currently serves with ACTION in Dallas, Texas primarily focusing on growth and development of the Great Commission. Her heartbeat behind her job is to seek people out and pray to the Lord, who is in charge of the harvest, to send more workers into his fields. (Matthew 9:38). Afshin Ziafat [Episode 24]

Afshin Ziafat is the lead Pastor of Providence Church Frisco. He is a PCA North parent and has spoken at many chapels for our PCA students. We discussed how to do life well when you are in college, married life and having a family. His passion is to teach the word of God as the authority and guide for life, to preach Jesus Christ as the only Savior and Redeemer of mankind, and to proclaim the love of Christ as the greatest treasure and hope in life. He and his wife, Meredith, currently reside in Frisco with their three children. You don’t want to miss this incredible episode! 

Sara Sterling Sapp 2015 [Episode 23]

Sara Sterling Sapp 2015 joined us for our LifeTalk podcast! Sara is currently living in Oklahoma with her husband, Aaron. We loved reminiscing with her over high school memories as she was involved in so many activities on campus. Jonathan Heasley (2016) was recently back on campus throwing out the first pitch on Graham field so of course we had to sit down with him and catch up. Jonathan talked about his baseball career with the Kansas City Royals and shared with us some big news that happened in his life in 2020. Drew Horner 2007 [Episode 20]

LifeTalk where we talk with PCA Alumni about life while encouraging and equipping you to live out the Truth of God's Word. In this episode we spoke with Drew about his life and what he has been doing after PCA. Drew talked about what it’s like to be a new Dad and the changes it had on him. A big part of Drew’s life was traveling around the world in the Rodeo and we enjoyed discussing what that looked like in his early twenties. Drew has also been a faithful volunteer at PCA and we are incredibly thankful for his leadership on our Stewardship Committee on the PCA Alumni Council. Micah Reis 2003 [Episode 19]

In this episode we spoke with Micah Buster Reis about her family journey through adopting their two little girls. Micah shared the process of their adoption and the relationship they have with each birth Mom. She shares some great ways of how believers can help families who are adopting or fostering children. Amber Beckles [Episode 18]

Amber Beckles is a technology teacher here at Prestonwood Christian Academy and has been teaching for over 15 years. We discussed how Amber began her journey here at PCA many years ago. We thoroughly enjoyed her transparency and openness about her faith and love for others.
